When you consider buying a weanling colt or filly from Shaneland Stables, you can be assured that every measure possible has been taken to create the best environment for the health of your baby. Your baby's health starts with each broodmare's health and nutrition needs as that is what starts a good foundation for the weanlings. Every weanling spends his/her days outside in fresh air with green pastures to graze from. The only time they spend time in the barn is when they are first born. They run and play with pasture mates and mothers and are weaned when they are strong and eating well on their own. They receive Purina Strategy feed/fresh grass every day.

We do genetic color testing on each foal and when it becomes available, the results will be placed on this website. We believe that you should know the exact color your baby is and what recessive genes they may possess.
Each foal will also come with compete Rocky Mountain Horse Association papers. We don't leave that up to you. You will have papers provided to you when you purchase your baby.

Klemontine definately outdid herself on this outstanding chocolate colt. Klemontine is a direct daughter of Sam Clemon's Tim out of a Buddy Roe mare, so she is a Golden Cross mare...so we combined El Cid (also a Golden Cross stallion) and created quite the stir with a Double Golden Cross stud colt. We are so pleased with this combination and have never seen anyone attempt this type of breeding before. We are amazed at Doobey's (barn name) outstanding gait and beauty and the markings of his grandsire and sire. He has Cid's little star, Buddy Roe's partial broken stripe and the snip of Grandpa Tim. This is one of the best breedings we have ever done and we would be interested in selling this little one to a serious breeder as he will be one to watch in the future. Cid's Figurine
Chocolate filly with no white
She's here!!!!! Jan/Cid have really done it this year. They have produced an almost perfect little statue of a filly, thus her name, Figurine (meaning small statue). This beautiful all chocolate filly is sure to draw the crowds at the International show. She is a total doll and we just love her. Rena has been tested by UCDavis and has NO red gene. She will only produce black or chocolate babies. She has only one silver dapple gene.
